Il telaio / the loom

Questo è il telaio che ho realizzato

con i miei alunni partendo da un cartoncino robusto

a cui abbiamo praticato dei tagli

di 1 cm sui lati corti

This is the loom that I made

with my students from a strong cardboard

to which we have practiced the cuts

of 1 cm on the short sides

poi abbiamo fatto passare la lana

then we stuck the wool

ed infine abbiamo tessuto

infilando la matassa 

una volta sopra il filo teso

ed una volta sotto

and finally we have been weaving

putting the skein

once over the wire

and once under

si sono divertiti un sacco

anche se il lavoro ha richiesto parecchio tempo!

They have enjoyed a lot

even if the work took a long time!

Ognuno ha usato i colori preferiti

anche alternandoli!

also alternating!
